Happy Diwali !!!! .Diwali is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate this Diwali with our favourite sweet dish ‘Jalebi’. Diwali signifies victory of good over evil and we Indians celebrate it every year by doing Laxmi Puja and lighting up Diyas.

This year let’s take a pledge of celebrating Diwali without burning firecrackers safely at your homes. But what can you do while staying at your at that time when you want to go out the most?

It’s simple😉 indulge yourselves in some quick deliciousness😋 Make Instant Jalebis in just 10 minutes. So here I bring to you my secret recipe for making mouth-watering🤤🤤Jalebiisssssss.

Ingredients Required

For Jalebi’s batter

  • 1 cup refined flour
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Eno
  • 1 cup water

For sugar syrup/Chaashni

  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 3/4th cup water
  • a pinch of cardamom powder
  • as per required food color

Procedure

  • Firstly prepare the sugar syrup by dissolving sugar into the water and adding all other ingredients and let it come to a boil.
  • Simultaneously make the batter for the jalebis by slowly adding water and making a lump-free batter
  • Put ghee/oil on high flame to fry our jalebis
  • Using a piping bag/sauce bottle pour the jalebi batter into the ghee/oil and look if the jalebi is rising by its own
  • Let it fry for 10 sec on each side on high flame until slightly golden and then take it and dip it in the sugar syrup by pressing the jalebis down so that it soaks all the syrups
  • After pressing them for about 30 seconds take them out and serve it.
  • To finish it off , sprinkle some sliced almonds and pistachios over it or you could even pair it with chilled Rabdi.
